Breakfast and lunches will be served as in the past with provisions to comply with the health department recommendations to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Breakfast will be served in 3 shifts: Elementary will eat as soon as they arrive and parents are asked to have these students at school by 7:40 if they plan to eat. Middle school will eat at 8:00 and high school will follow with the last shift. Bus riders will eat as they arrive. Lunch will follow the same type of schedule.
All parents have received an information packet with a health questionnaire they should use as a guideline prior to sending students to school or on the bus. These preventative measures have been put in place to help combat the spread of coronavirus.
Three masks per student have been provided by Tri-County schools. Students are not required to wear them at this point but they are recommended. Staff, however, are required to wear masks if they cannot maintain proper distance.
The fall baseball and softball programs are still scheduled and students started practicing on Tuesday. The first game for both teams is a home game on August 28 against Galt.
Watch for schedules and more details about upcoming school events.
