Gallatin players celebrate their victory after Dr. Couple presented them with the Hwy 6 rivalry trophy.
Coach Patrick Treece said of the game “I couldn’t be more pleased with our team’s effort on Friday night. We stayed disciplined and played together from start to finish. Offensively we were able to stay balanced, passing for 175 yards and running for 146 yards. Our offensive line played a great game and has shown much improvement over the course of the last few games. Defensively, we had another great tackling performance and owned the line of scrimmage, keeping the Trenton RB’s bottled up for most of the night. This was a huge win for us as it clinches at least a share of the GRC Conference Title. We have an opportunity to win the GRC outright with a win this week at Princeton. To accomplish this we will have to have a great week of preparation in practice.”
