Fatal House Fire

A rural Jamesport woman lost her life in a house fire last Thursday, March 10. A fire of undetermined origin destroyed the home of Clarence and Jenny Leonard around 1:00 a.m. Mrs. Leonard who was evidently asleep at the time died in the fire. The house was totally engulfed when the Jamesport Fire and Rescue, Lock Springs Fire Department and Gallatin Fire Departments arrived on scene. Mr. Leonard was away at work at the time of the fire. No one else was injured. The home was located about 7 miles south of Jamesport on 330th St.
