Wind Damage and Power Outage Reported

Wind, wind go away, come back another day - or next year, but not anytime soon. The local area continues to experience strong winds and some thunder showers. Friday night, a warning was issued for Daviess and surrounding counties. Strong winds blew a loafing shed over at the Henry Ropp farm. Wind also damaged a greenhouse at the Vernon Schrock farm east of town, and more damage was reported at the Abe Kurtz home along the Daviess-Grundy County line. Power was disrupted for Evergy customers for about hour and half Friday night as the thunder storm moved through the area. Rain????
